If a user has trouble accessing Assess, you may need to reset their MFA or resend their invitation.

The option you use depends on the user's current status and the issue they are experiencing.

  • Reset MFA is used when a user is having issues with their MFA login.
  • Resend is used when a user's status is Invited and Setup required.

Follow the steps below to reset MFA or resend a user invitation.

Step 1: Log in to Assess

Log in to the platform in the usual way.

    Step 2: Open Settings

From the top navigation bar, select Settings.

Step 3: Open Users & Access

Within the Settings page, select Users & access.

This will take you to the list of users who have access to your Assess account.

    Step 4: Find the User

Find the user who requires their MFA to be reset or their invitation to be resent.

Check the user's status before selecting an option.

Step 5: Reset MFA or Resend the Invitation

Depending on the issue, select the appropriate option:

    Reset MFA

Select Reset MFA if the user is having issues with their MFA login.

This will allow the user's MFA setup to be reset so they can set it up again.

    Resend

Select Resend if the user's status is Invited and Setup required.

This will resend the invitation to the user so they can complete their account setup.

    Important

Make sure you select the correct option based on the user's status and the issue they are experiencing.

    • MFA login issue → Reset MFA
    • Invited + Setup required → Resend
