There may be occasions when you need to submit evidence on behalf of a learner. This article explains the two available methods, and when each one is most appropriate.
Method 1: Completing an Existing Activity
Use this method when the activity already exists in the learner's Program and simply needs completing.
Follow the steps below:
- Open the Learner Program
- Click on the Activities tab
- Locate the Activity you need to complete
- In the Actions column, click the Submit icon
- On the Submit Evidence modal, enter the text in the 'Explain how this learning has helped you in your job role' and try, where possible, to use the learner's own words
- Tick the 'Confirmed submission by Training Provider on behalf of learner' checkbox and click Submit
Note: You can also add Attachments using the Drag & Drop or browse functionality at the bottom of the modal.
Method 2: Adding a new Learning Log
Use this method to capture additional evidence that supports progress but is not tied to a formal activity.
Follow the steps below:
- Open the Learner Program
- Click on the Learning Logs tab
- Click the + Add Learning Log button
- Complete all sections on the pop-up as follows:
- Title
- Date
- Hours and minutes
- Type (dropdown)
- Delivery location (where the learning took place)
- Notes (free text field)
- Click Save
Note: You can also add Attachments using the Drag & Drop or browse functionality at the bottom of the modal. It's also worth pointing out that depending on your setup, you may not have access to the Competencies Evidenced section shown in the image below.
