From 1st August 2025, Event Indicators are a requirement for claiming Milestone 2 payments.
Where to find the Event Indicator
You can access the Event Indicator functionality by selecting the Status button at the top of the Learner's program which opens the Change Status modal.

What's New in the Change Status Modal?
A new Milestone 2 Event section has been added, containing:
Event Indicator
Choose one of the following options:
- Offer of an interview for a role which matches skills acquired
- Offer of a new role or added responsibilities with existing employer
- Receipt of plan from learner to acquire new self-employment opportunities or contract
Event Date
Required if an Event Indicator is selected.
Evidence Details
Optional free-text field to capture supporting information.
Event Files
Optional upload area for evidence documents.
Don't forget to click Save at the bottom of the modal.
What Happens in the ILR?
When you complete the Event Indicator section:
- The platform automatically creates an EVI record int he ILR for the Learner's program.
- No manual edits to the Program Aim are required for programs starting on or after 1st August 2025.
This ensures Milestone 2 evidence is captured correctly and submitted in the ILR without the extra steps.
