Learner App Navigation

The learner app has been designed with ease of use in mind. Your interface gives you quick access to everything you need throughout your learning journey.

There are two key navigation areas - the menu that runs along the bottom of the screen which gives you easy access to the areas of the platform you will use most, and the left hand menu accessed via the three lines (also known as a burger menu, because it looks like a burger sandwich).

Click Activities to view and complete your assigned activities.  You’ll be able to see a summary widget at the top of the page, showing which activities you have submitted on time, late, and which have been referred back to you, or are pending feedback from your training provider.

Below the widget, you will see a list of all your activities and their current status.

Click To Do to view your list of actions, or add new ones.

Click Course Material to view any resources linked to Activities related to your program.  This will include any resources provided by your training provider.

Click Schedule to view your upcoming Activities and Key Dates. This section displays your activities, reviews, and any key dates that you might need to keep track of.

Click Learning Log to view and record incidental learning.

This section is used to capture evidence of learning that has taken place (e.g. in the workplace) that is relevant to your training, and demonstrates one or more of the Knowledge, Skills, or Behaviours.  You will see a list of any previously recorded learning logs, and can search and filter existing logs.  You can also create a new learning log, and capture the details of what you learned, and why this is helpful to you in your job role.

Remember, in order to count towards your hours, a learning log must be relevant.

The three line menu which is located at the top left of your screen, will give you access to all of the areas located in the bottom menu (detailed above), and the following:

Click Dashboard to view your personalised dashboard.  This contains a number of widgets that display your overall progress.  Don't be too worried if there's nothing to display on this page at the start of your training - data will start to populate as you make progress, submit activities, and record learning logs.

Click Reviews to access any reviews that have been scheduled or completed.  At the top of the page you will also see a widget called 'Skills Review Score' which displays your progress against the Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours of your program. This is captured at the start of your training, and again at each of the reviews to show the distance travelled at each stage of your program. Again, don't be too worried if there's nothing to display on this page at the start of your training.

Click Accreditation from the left-hand menu to view your accreditations.

This section contains a record of any accreditations you are either working toward or have already achieved. Accreditations will only be displayed if your training provider has added these to your program.

Click Contacts to view the key people linked to your program.  This includes your training provider supervisor, your employer supervisor, and the safeguarding contact for your trainin.

Click Files to view important files and other documents.  This will include policies, procedures, and any other files made uploaded by your training provider.

Click Notes to view any notes that have been added to your program.  These may include observations, or key points discussed with your training provider or employer.

Click My Profile to view your personal information.

This includes your name, contact details, and other information linked to your account.  You can make and save changes to your personal information on the tabs in this section.

Click Notifications to view recent alerts.  This section shows updates and reminders relevant to your learning journey.  You can also access notifications via the bell icon in the top right hand corner of the screen.
